Drone Incursions

But by whom?

Sky News presents a timeline of Drone incursions on NATO's eastern flank in 2026 introduced by:

There have been repeated infringements of NATO countries' airspace in recent months, allegedly by Russian drones and jets...

The 'alleged' Russian drones and jets are:

25 March - Ukrainian drone

29-30 March - Ukrainian drone

31 March - Foreign drone

1 April - Ukrainian drone

7 May - Foreign drone

10-14 May - Latvian PM resigns (first ever PM brought down by a drone)

15 May - Finland scrambles jets

20 May - Lithuania 'a drone'

21 May - Latvia 'a drone'

3 June - Drone warnings in Latvia and Estonia

8 June - A drone shot down in Latvia

30 June - At last...a Russian cruise missile crashed in Poland

14 August - drones in Latvia and Romania

16 August - drone shot down in Romania 'might be Russian' or might not

10 September - Russian drone claimed to delay Zelensky flight

15 September - 'a drone' shot down in Lithuania

Two. That's certainly a lot of 'repeated infringements' by Russian drones and jets vs. Ukrainian drones.

Strangely the timeline does not even include the biggest incident of the lot - alleged Russian drone incursions at Leipzig airport and one can only wonder why this has been left out of the timeline.
