Chilling red wine has always been socially acceptable except among wine snobs and who really cares what they think?

It's hardly a 'Gen-Z' discovery.

If you want to chill your wine - red, white or rose - then do it.

It's bit like the debate about warm vs chilled beer or lager.

If you like your drinks chilled then chill them, if you don't then don't.

But surely red wine tastes better if it's served at room temperature?

Well maybe if it does to you but not everyone is you.

FNN prefers chilled, sweeter red wine from Georgia (e.g. Kindzmarauli) that is quite hard to find in your average UK supermarket but easy to buy from the Georgian Wine shop online:
