Sky News reports:
An asylum seeker has been jailed after posing as a teenager to groom and rape a 13-year-old girl he met on social media.
Abdul Khan, who's believed to be 28, arrived in Britain in the back of a lorry in 2015. He has now been jailed for nine and a half years.
That's shocking enough but what is even more shocking is:
He raped her twice in May last year after previous activity that jurors decided had been consensual.
How can anything between a twenty-something stranger and a 13 year-old girl be deemed consensual?
Whether he's an immigrant or not is hardly the point and what exactly was this consensual activity between a man pretending to be a 14 year old boy and the girl?
Surely nobody can consent to anything when the person you are consensual with is a fake person?
For example, a 13 year-old girl says: I consented to have sex with a man who claimed he was Mickey Mouse because I love Mickey.
Surely this is nonsense?
But it's no wonder that places like Colchester (Essex) are now employing security patrols on their streets:
Private security guards carried out their first patrol in Essex on Monday after male migrants have left women scared to go out alone.
The Reform-led county council has hired contractors to monitor migrants on the streets of Colchester, Braintree and Chelmsford – with the first walkabouts starting this week.
Locals in Colchester say that on days when asylum seekers are brought into the city from MDP Wethersfield – a former RAF base in the Essex countryside – the atmosphere can feel very different.
The atmosphere probably felt 'very different' during WW2 when US airmen from United States Army Air Forces Ninth Air Force were in town eyeing up the local talent - after the USAAF took over RAF Wethersfield in August 1942.
So today it's hardly a surprise that young men from different cultures behave in a way that is not the norm in the UK, especially given that they probably spend a lot of time on their bunks watching porn filled with 'empowered' western women - who to them may seem not much different from those they see in any High Street in the UK - posting their Tik-Tok videos and OnlyFans 'content' for monetization purposes.
