We're Going Home

The latest hit from Rab C Nesbitt

Scottish icon Rab C Nesbitt is currently riding the charts with his latest hit We're Going Home.

Not to be confused with the Tom Jones standard 'I'm Coming Home', Rab's hit is a football chant linked to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

He is expected to sing his hit on Top of the Pops dressed in his usual British Army ankle-boots, kilt (sans scants) and string vest.

He will be accompanied on stage by a bevy and a small man who spends all his time staring at the Pans People dancers and shouting: Ah smell nookie!

The song's lyrics include:

We're going hame!

We're going hame!

If only we could play the game!

The world cup would never be the same!

We got no Messi

But we got Nessie

If you'll take the high road

Then I'll take the low road

etc.

(lyrics by Ben Doon and Phil McCavity)
