Sky News reports:
Scottish man jailed in Ukraine after admitting spying for Russia
Ross David Cutmore, from Dunfermline in Fife, shared information about the Ukrainian military in return for payment, after being recruited to work as a Russian spy.
Apparently Cutmore was paid £4500 for some of his 'secrets'.
About enough to buy 2000 jumbo bottles of Irn-Bru.
Why does anyone bother spying for this kind of money?
It's not even enough to buy a Lada.
Although 8 years in prison will most likely cost Ukraine more than he allegedly earned from Russia.
We'll know if Mr Cutmore really was a Russian spy if he is swapped in a future prisoner exchange.
