The Sky News interview with a Brit who has fought for Russia in Ukraine and has now moved to Russia and been disowned by his family begs the question: what is this really about?
To pillory the man or to ask genuine questions about why someone would defy the fake narrative about Ukraine and put their own life on the line for their principles.
50-year-old Ben Stimson from Oldham has already spent years in UK prison for his 'pro-Russian' principles.
At least he wasn't treated like the 'separatist' Ukrainians were treated by the Ukrainian state when they were taped to lamp posts to be the subject of abuse, beatings and worse (see the photos in Benoit Pare's book).
He was treated as if he was an Englishman going to fight for Hitler in WW2 - like so many Ukrainians actually did before being spirited away to places like Canada after the war.
Most people simply don't have the guts to do what did so why is he being pilloried for his principles?
Because he doesn't fit the fake narrative, that's why.
