It can't have escaped people's notice that Freya was also the name of the Third Reich's early-warning radar system used to help fight the round-the-clock bombing of Germany in WW2.
This has probably gone down well with the current architects of the Fourth Reich in the EU and Germany and is another Nazi poke in the ribs for Putin.
