Trump alleges Chinese election interference in address to nation
An assessment conducted in 2021 under then US director of national intelligence John Ratcliffe, who is now the CIA director, found no evidence of foreign interference in the 2020 election, which Mr Trump lost.
The US President continues to search for parties to blame for his 2020 election defeat.
He may be right about China or he may be wrong but in the end why would it be inconsistent for other countries to interfere in US elections when the USA does this all over the world and has been doing it for decades.
If his China narrative doesn't stick, he'll move on to try blaming someone else - the EU or even Ukraine, whose government the USA interfered with during the Maidan coup.

But Iran is the most obvious candidate to try to blame next, to deflect from the investigation into the murder of a lot of civilians at the Minab school due to outdated targeting intelligence.
