Russiagate

It's even worse than you thought

The Dissident has a long and detailed post about Russiagate that paints the whole thing as even worse than you may have thought.

A Look Back At 'Russiagate' In The Context Of 'Chinagate'.

Few Are Taking Trump's Claims Seriously That China Swung The 2020 Election, This Should Have Been The Reactions To Claims That Russia Swung The 2016 Election.

This should have been titled: A Look Back in Anger...and the post well worth reading but let's jump to the conclusion:

The claim of a Russian information war “threat” against America that the Foreign Policy Initiative attempted to create in 2014, was now being repeated by mainstream media across the spectrum, in even more extreme and war mongering ways.

All of this was orchestrated by the Neo-Cons and deep state with the end goal of provoking and manufacturing consent for a proxy war with Russia using Ukraine.

Now that the same playbook is being repeated with China, it needs to be remembered how dangerous this campaign could become.

In this Russiagate matter, both Democrats and neo-con Republicans were truly cheeks of the same ass.

Anyone daft enough to believe that Putin is Hitler and he invaded Ukraine as his first step in rolling tanks across Europe should read this post and prepare for transition therapy.

It's not clear who will be the chosen proxy for a war with China. Australia? South Korea? Taiwan?

But it's going to be someone because no-one, not even a neo-con, is daft enough to want a ground war with China using US troops.

As the post makes clear, while everyone is quite happy to ban RT as a Putin propaganda mouthpiece, the US was quite happy to stage manage the resignation of a US RT anchor for its own grubby purposes (Liz Wahl - RT’s Ron Burgundy as the Dissident memorably calls her).

The post also highlights a ridiculous neo-con headline from Politico in 2018:

Putin's Attack on the U.S. is our Pearl Harbor.

And just like Pearl Harbor, the US knew all about 'Putin's attack' because they manufactured it for their own purposes.

Make no mistake: Hacking the 2016 was an act of war. It's time we responded accordingly (i.e. by provoking, provisioning and prolonging a war in Ukraine).

But there was a mistake made. A big one.

A mistake that has cost the lives of hundreds of thousands of Russians and Ukrainians.
