Eufy Dog

Woof. Woof. Hello I'm Rags.

FNN has received a request to participate in a survey relating to a new Eufy robotic dog.

You may remember Rags, who first appeared in Woody Allen's Sleeper (1973).

Now Rags is already a reality and coming soon to a home near you.

No doubt some parents will buy them for their kids but the biggest beneficiaries will be the old.

Now the lonely will have something to talk to that just seems a little more interesting than an alarm clock.

Now the frail will have something to notify when they fall so Rags can call an ambulance.

Now those living alone will have a security guard that stays alert all night sat at the foot of their bed and can deter intruders with a siren and the stern message 'Law enforcement is on the way'.

No need for it to fetch your newspaper every day as it can tell you the latest news, as it happens.

It won't be a dog but for many people that won't matter.

It doesn't have to be fed (only charged), it doesn't smell or beg at the dinner table, it doesn't need a litter tray and you can leave it in the house when you go on vacation to keep its beady eye on things.

Bonus!
