Caitlin Johnstone reports:
Today in dystopia, the BBC is churning out blatantly false propaganda accusing China of administering propaganda about the recent catastrophic flash floods and mudslides between Nepal and Tibet.
In a report titled “Footage of Tibet floods isn’t being shown in China — and we know little about victims there,” the BBC falsely asserts that “China’s heavily censored internet” and “state-run flagship news bulletin” have been repressing footage of people fleeing for their lives as the disaster unfolded.
Meanwhile do a search on the BBC news site - Manchester rape gang trial - (done 30/08/26) and you will find no reporting of the trial headlined in The Manchester Evening News as:
Trial of men accused of historic sexual offences against three girls in Rochdale due to start
This is probably what is behind this report by The Malaysia Sun:
The rape gang trial the UK establishment doesn't want you to know about
This may come as news to the BBC, but FNN would bet most people in Britain are more interested in news about rape gangs being brought to justice than fake news about Chinese propaganda that, as Caitlin's piece points out, can be easily disproved:
We know these claims are false because people have been posting news reports and sharing footage about the floods from Chinese news outlets and on Chinese social media. With accompanying screen shots, Arnaud Bertrand writes on Twitter that the BBC’s claim “takes literally 2 seconds to debunk: go on Xiaohongshu (or any other Chinese social networks), type a keyword related to the mudslide (I typed “泥石流”, “mudslide”) and you’ll see thousands of posts with footage about it — including from state media.”
Our society is brainwashed by propagandists who point at another society and caution us how brainwashed by propaganda they are. Nobody is more propagandized than the citizens of our western dystopia, but our social engineers want you to believe the Chinese are the ones who aren’t allowed to think for themselves.
