These Are Not Just Ordinary Shelves

These are M&S shelves

Sky News reports:

Shoppers have complained they're facing empty M&S shelves as the company grapples with the aftermath of a cyberattack.

From Sheffield to Aberdeen to Derry, customers have struggled to find what they're looking for and taken to social media to vent.

M&S confirmed there were "pockets of limited availability in some stores" as a result of measures to manage the cyber incident.

A spokesperson explained:

We think the Russians are behind this dastardly cyberattack on the UK's food supply chain.

Ever since a housewife called Mrs V Putin had her Sparks card cancelled, we have been expecting some kind of disruption to prevent our customers getting access to their M&S favorites.

A Kremlin spokesperson told FNN:

Why would we need M&S food? Our supermarkets shelves are bulging with fresh fruit and vegetables.

But having said that, I do like those M&S Eccles cakes, bursting with raisins and with that crunchy sugary exterior. Yum!
