Starmer Turns to Englebert

Please release me, let me go

Following taunts from Elon Musk, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer has finally confessed that his government does not know what they are doing and are way out of their depth.

A spokesperson explained:

Before he was elected, Mr Starmer was just an Arsenal football fan who was plucked from the terraces by some mysterious millionaires to run the UK, along with others in his cabinet, at least one of whom told porkies on her CV.

Now they are all jetting off around the world 'negotiating' while the UK economy collapses and the prospect looms of the country becoming the 51st state of the USA before Canada does.

As a result, the old Englebert Humperdinck hit Release me (Please release me, let me go) is rising rapidly through the pop charts as the UK electorate confirms that it does not love Starmer's Labour government anymore.
