UK Home Secretary Yvette Cooper has promised to crack down on 'harmful beliefs', whatever they may be.
FNN has got hold of a list of some of these harmful beliefs:
- Immigration is under control
- The police are solving lots of crimes, especially burglaries
- The UK economy is creating lots of long-term, family-supporting jobs
- Russia blew up the Nordstream pipelines
- NATO is a defensive alliance
- UK weapons are killing Russians
- The roads are full of potholes unlike new, empty cycle paths
- Brexit led to the collapse of the UK
- The NHS offers a world-class service
- Only women bleed
It's not clear what the penalty will be for holding these harmful beliefs or who will be the arbiter (AI?) but - once again - Orwell will be turning in his grave.
