Weather Disrupts Pride March

Storm Antoni branded transphobic

As Brighton braced for the wind and rain of Storm Antoni, the weather was branded 'transphobic' by rainbow people travelling to the UK's most popular pride event.

A spokesperson told FNN:

The wind and rain predicted from Storm Antoni shows how even the weather is against us and why climate-change is a catastrophe for the rainbow community and must be halted before it cancels us all.

The UK's meteorological office has added a new rainbow warning to its traditional traffic light weather alerts.

A spokesperson explained:

We have stuck with red and amber warnings for decades but we now acknowledge that a special rainbow warning is needed to ensure that we do not discriminate by only warning straight people of impending weather events.
