Sky News reports:
How can a Labour prime minister be ousted?
Sir Keir Starmer is under immense pressure following the disastrous elections in England, Scotland, and Wales.
That's what we would all like to know.
We know: 'build back better' and all that
Unlike the leader of the Labour party in Wales, Starmer does not have the decency to resign.
But Starmer has learned from 'Teflon' Tony (Blair) never to do the right thing in the face of adversity.
If this had been a general election then we would probably have a Reform Government with the Greens as kingmakers and Starmer (and Labour) would be consigned to the dustbin of history.
But the UK lives in an oligarchy not a democracy.
Like all oligarchs, Starmer does not want to relinquish his grip on power.
Otherwise there will be no more swanning around in Europe with his EU pals promising billions of UK taxpayer money to Ukraine.
But we jest.
The EU is the dumping ground for many falied UK Labour leaders and politicians, like Kinnock and Mandelson, so Starmer could expect a plum job in Bussels if he is discarded in the UK.
Maybe the EU's Weapons Ambassador would be a good fit?
Or installing him as the PM of Slovakia?
What a merry-go-round!
