'Antagonistic' Russia wants to degrade lives in UK, expert says
Russia is an "antagonistic state" that is using "all methods" to degrade and disrupt the lives of people in Britain, a former UK defence attache has said.
John Foreman, international security specialist, told Sky News the UK has been "facing a confrontational Russian state for at least 15, if not 20, years".
There seems to be some confusion here about what 'antagonism' really means.
The UK supplies weapons to Ukraine that kill people - yes we know, Russian people, who are not really people - but still.
This kind of antagonism is slightly more antagonistic that cyber attacks, GPS jamming and Russian ships parked in the Baltic.
How many British people have been killed by Russian weapons targeted at the UK vs. Russians whose lives have been 'degraded' i.e. killed by UK weapons targeted at Russia.
Simple answer: Zero.
This is a classic fake narrative.
It is not Russia that is killing people in the UK, it is the UK that is killing people in Russia.
That what antagonism really is.
The real fact - as everyone knows - is that it is the USA, by starting its illegal war against Iran, that has genuinely degraded and disrupted the lives of British people (along with a lot of other people all over the world).
So the real 'threat', when it comes to impacting ordinary people's lives in the UK, is the USA and not Russia.
