Refugees Welcome

Just NIMBY

Source: https://allmouth.substack.com/p/piddington-discovers-voting-does

While the Piddington protests against an asylum centre near their village and a referendum to secede from the UK have gained a lot of attention (even here on FNN), it is now clear that this is what Piddington voted for in the last general election by helping to elect a Lib Dem candidate and not voting Reform.

As All Mouth and Trousers reports:

Piddington discovers voting DOES matter.

A migrant centre was what they voted for

Right before the general election, Ange [Angela Rayner] was telling you that you WERE going to get asylum seekers wherever you lived. And still you went out and voted Lib Dem, or didn’t even bother to vote?

Now you are going to reap the rewards for your virtue-signalling. You thought you were safe in the Chilterns. Now you know differently. And there are plenty of other military camps in leafy areas. If there’s one near you, don’t imagine they won’t use it. Calum Miller is going to do absolutely nothing to help you, that’s for sure. He probably thinks you’re racists. He wants the asylum seekers, just not where he lives or where his voters live.

I agree, they are all virtue signalling 'Refugees Welcome' until it effects them. They are getting far more media coverage than any other area of the country.

You know I just said the exact same thing to someone. I have zero sympathy & the selfish pricks are still saying refugees welcome, just not near us.

Maybe if they had a Reform council they wouldn't be so worried as they would have their own 'Piddington patrols' like those in Colchester.
