As the possibility of the Ukraine proxy war ending comes closer, liberals and mainstream Democrats continue to toe the Neo-con line on Russia and Ukraine, pushing to continue the unwinnable proxy war in Ukraine, in order to weaken Russia.
And if Trump loses big in the midterms then the likelihood of any kind of settlement in Ukraine will diminish and the EU - Ukraine's ATM - will continue with its policy of 'unloans' (loans that will never be paid back).
In order to “weaken Russia”, the Neo-conservatives successfully got the Obama administration to overthrow Ukraine’s elected president Viktor Yanukovych through a covert coup in 2014, installing a U.S. puppet government which included far-right nationalists in top positions of power who were openly hostile to Russia and Ukraine’s ethnic Russian population in the East.
It is quite clear that this conflict was never about democracy and all about bringing Russia to its knees to get more control over its vast resources.
The ideal outcome is that Putin is removed and it's the EU and the US that get to weaponize Russian energy to put the screws on China, India and the rest of the BRICS who haven't drunk the koolaid that demands US hegemony for ever - how cool would that be!
We don't need Putin to tell us this - it's obvious.
Ukraine, or at least its leadership, is the willing patsy - willing that is to deal with depopulation and death in order to service Neo-con agendas.
Putin is portrayed as a madman but I think we all know who the real madmen are and they're not on Madison Avenue.
