The Daily Mail reports on Diane Abbot's recent comments about the war in Ukraine:
She described warnings of a future Russian invasion of Western countries in July as 'outlandish', and the month before criticised 'the Nato campaign against Russia'.
Writing in left-wing paper the Morning Star, she said: 'The reason there is such a hue and cry about military spending now is not because Russian forces are in Ukraine; that happened well over four years ago.
'No, the reason for the outlandish claims about an imminent Russian invasion is simply because Trump demanded more military spending from Nato members.'
She added: 'None of this is making us any safer. On the contrary. Russia is a major military power, but Nato is engaged in a war which is now striking deep into Russian territory, provoking widespread calls for retaliation against Nato countries.'
The fake outrage against Abbot's comments just shows how deep the lies about Ukraine have penetrated the British establishment.
Putin's only public military-secret 'threat' to the UK comes now, after the UK:
- supplied long-range weapons to kill Russians
- trained Ukrainian forces to kill Russians
- infiltrated special forces into Ukraine to kill Russians
- undermined the 2022 Istanbul peace talks to kill Russians
- supported sanctions and EU initiatives designed to kill Russians
Just who exactly is threatening whom?
Meanwhile various people continue bleating about 'hybrid' warfare involving drones that never seem to actually do any real damage.
So either Russia's drones are totally hopeless and are having no impact whatsoever on the battlefield or these drones are not in fact Russian but sent by someone else for their own 'false-flag' purposes.
Blowing up a massive Ukrainian transport aircraft at Leipzig airport should have been quite easy to do but apparently Russia failed (again) at this simple task.
Just as all the other alleged Russian drone incursions into 'NATO airspace' have failed to do anything much but enable NATO aircraft to practice shooting them down or to hit the ground in open spaces and explode.
Why is anyone threatened by this hybrid warfare? It's ludicrous.
One would understand if Russian drones were 'threatening' Number 10 North, Brussels, or Berlin. But they are not.
Burnham and his bros - Micron and the Mekon (Merz) - are safe despite doing all they can to kill Russians.
Far more serious a 'threat' is the alleged attempt by Ukraine to target Putin at his Valdai area residence:

Abbot is right. None of this nonsense is actually about Ukraine and none of it is making us any safer.
