Sky News reports:
Were beach drone explosion and market vendor attack both false flag? It's unlikely
Ukraine previously accused Russia of committing a war crime and carrying out a "drone safari" after footage released by Ukrainian police showed a drone pursuing and later exploding near a street vendor in the city of Kherson.
How do we know exactly who sent this drone that exploded on 'safari'?
Later on, Sky's 'analyst' did the twist over war crimes:
On Ukraine's accusation that it was a war crime [the drone safari], Clarke said it "prima facie" seemed to be the case, adding that it's "hard to imagine" that the man involved was a special agent.
Meanwhile, Clarke said while he is certain that a drone that hit a Russian beach on Monday was intended for another target, "the Ukrainians are still responsible for that".
"Now, is that a war crime? I would say no. On the other hand, the Ukrainians should still have to justify it, because the argument legally is... was it a reasonable action to send a drone off to a legitimate military target?"
The Gelendzhik resort is several kilometres from a mysterious estate dubbed "Putin's Palace". Clarke guessed the drone could have been heading there.
One minute he is certain about the real target for the drone, the next he is guessing, so which is it?
If he is certain then he has been told the exact targeting co-ordinates of the drone that was fired by Ukraine so just tell us what they were.
If he didn't know these co-ordinates then he can't be certain and is simply making stuff up.
Of course it is a reasonable action to send a drone off to a legitimate military target - as opposed to a Wildberries consumer logistics warehouse for example - but it is unreasonable for the same drone to kill civilians at the beach.
This 'analysis' also means that the killing of kids at the Iranian school was not a war crime as the missile that did it was claimed to be aimed at a military target or what was guessed to be a military target.
Try telling that to the parents whose kids were at school in the military target.
This kind of logic gets you nowhere - I shot him cos I was aiming for the man behind him - and excuses everything.
