Geriatric brawl in Dorset

The UK Telegraph reports on a brawl in King Charles' model town Poundbury in Dorset:

An elderly woman was allegedly assaulted after an argument over car fumes in the King’s “ideal town”.

Ingrid Wright-Holmes, 83, claimed that her neighbour, Sekhar Sootarsing, 69, punched her in the face when she asked him to switch off his Ford Mustang, a court heard.

Her husband then took his “trusted walking stick” and struck Mr Sootarsing, Bournemouth Crown Court was told.

Some quite fruity language was expressed by the oldies and walking sticks are rumoured to be flying off the shelves in the Poundbury Waitrose.

We asked Scottish national treasure Rab C Nesbitt for his comment and he told us:

That's messin' wi' ma heed. It's safer in Govan. Anyone for a bevy?
