The power of Whackogens

The latest marketing podcast on Netflix's Confessions of A Female Founder from Meghan Enterprises and Harry (aka MEH), talked up the power of 'whackogens' like mushrooms.

Nothing to do with Jimmy Edwards (RIP), whackogens are products that appeal to whackos - like Alfred E Neuman of MAD magazine, who would make a good interviewee BTW.

HRH the Duchess - tut,tut ... we mean Meghan - is convinced of the benefits of mushrooms, a whackogen formerly known as food.

Sky News reports her informing her audience:

So there are these items and ingredients that have been part of our natural ecosystem and dietary system for a long time, whether acknowledged or not, that somehow you say mushrooms, and now people have a connotation attached to it," she said.

Given that most people think of mushrooms as kept in the dark and fed on shit - like readers of Fake News in the MSM - we see what she means by 'connotation'.

But Meghan was keen to portray mushrooms as psychedelic and super woo-woo and ended the podcast by holding up a jar of her new Ayurvedic Mushroom Salsa, only available online from MEH.
