Florida Opens Maritime Cocaine Clinic

Local sharks are all addicts

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has opened Florida's first maritime cocaine rehab clinic after scientists discovered that so much cocaine has been dumped off Miami that local sharks are now addicted to the stuff.

A local scientist explained after a quick snort:

We have noticed a modification in maritime behaviour, for example, sharks swimming in lines and going after anything packed in a green bag.

Turtles now swim on their backs with their legs in air and as a result keep crashing into each other.

So we dumped some cocaine in the ocean and confirmed that this caused a frenzy among the local sharks, particularly the hammerheads, who began to swim erratically with both eyes swivelling continously in their sockets.

The new clinic will be attached to Florida's Seaworld Park and allow sharks to recover by gradually weaning them off cocaine and switching them onto fentanyl, which is cheaper and much easier to obtain.
