EU Parliament Misses British Humour

It's not just the UK's sizeable monetary contribution that the EU misses.

Apparently one of the few things that EU MPs miss as a result of Brexit is the famous British sense of humour to lighten up their parliamentary debates.

For example, here are some typical British jokes from the Sun newspaper, which is widely read in Oberkommando West (aka Brussels):

An Englishman, an Irishman and a Scotsman walk into a bar. But the Englishman wanted to leave so everyone else had to.

Q: What does Donald Trump do after he pulls a cracker?
A: Pays her off.

Q: What do you call a 17-year-old with Covid?
A: A quaran-teen

Q: What’s the difference between an oral thermometer and a rectal thermometer?
A: The taste.

Q: What does Miley Cyrus have at Christmas?
A: Twerky!

Not to be outdone, EU spokesperson Ursula von Richthofen chipped in with this hilarious German joke:

Teacher: “Where was the Brexit treaty signed?”

Little Fritz: “Bottom right?”
