Google Glasses Protested by Feminists

Feminists are calling for Google Glasses to be banned.

This could be the final nail in the coffin for Google Glasses, the augmented reality specs developed by the search engine giant and inspired by those w-w-wacky advertisements at the back of Marvel comics.

Feminists claim that a secret setting in the Glasses mobile application switches on a hidden X-Ray spec capability and this is used to beam back images of women's bodies from beneath their clothes to Google servers.

Google has denied all knowledge of this setting as they can't find it mentioned in their terms and conditions of service.

However, when FNN queried a Google Home device with "Hey Google. X-Ray Me!", the answer - "You are wearing a tasty thong" - struck us as highly suspicious.

This latest objection to Google Glasses was dismissed by a Google spokesperson who claimed that:

The X-Ray setting merely switches on greater transparency across all Google applications and has nothing to do with compiling a vast database of sneaky snaps of female body parts and upskirt shots that we can sell to porn sites and perverts worldwide.

EU spokesperson, Ursula von Richthofen told us:

The EU is also on the case but our inquiry is on hold after the website recruiting for the investigation team crashed when it was deluged by applicants for the job of "X-Ray Image Investigator".
