FNN Use of AI

Let's be clear about it

Caitlin Johnstone writes:

Today in dystopia it’s becoming more and more common for online commenters to accuse me of using AI to write my essays, which I have never done and will never do.

FNN wants to be clear about how this blog uses AI:

  1. None of the actual blog posts are written by AI
  2. Post are submitted to AI for an AI comment and for AI to represent the MSM perspective.
  3. The original post is not rewritten to reflect AI comment but may be updated to comment on the AI's comment, which FNN frequently disagrees with. These two AI perspectives are clearly marked as AI generated.
  4. FNN uses AI to produce 'narrative analytics' from the blog content to track the long-running themes in the blog corpus.

The purpose of this blog is to present FNN's human views on a variety of subjects not to get them from AI and re-post.

I agree with Caitlin:

I don’t mind the accusations, I just hate what it says about where we’re heading as a species. These things have only existed for a few years, but some people are already forgetting what it was like to be able to use your own mind to complete simple cognitive tasks. I find it deeply disturbing.
