Ex-army officer Serhii Kuznietsov has been charged over the blasts four years ago. He is the only person currently on trial, but a suspected diver is fighting extradition from Croatia.

International observers initially blamed Russia, but the Kremlin said it wouldn't damage its own infrastructure and suggested US and UK intelligence agencies were involved.
These 'experts' ignored the fact that Russia could just turn off the spigot if it really wanted to 'weaponize' energy as was widely claimed it was doing at the time. Just more nonsense that was lapped up.
What the trial demonstrates is that the MSM relayed a lot of fairy stories (aka disinformation) about Nordstream and the trial may also expose US/NATO involvement in facilitating/planning the explosions (as claimed by Seymour Hersh) as it's simply inconceivable that Ukraine would have attacked Germany without US/NATO knowledge or that 3 men in a boat could have done so much damage.
And especially as it was well-established that the USA (i.e. Biden/Blinken/Trump) wanted Nordstream shut down.

“The German investigation continues and due to the secrecy that prevails in international legal cooperation, I cannot comment further on the cooperation that has taken place. With reference to this, I will also not be able to comment anything further on the conclusions of the Swedish investigation or comment on any suspected persons in the Swedish investigation”, says Mats Ljungqvist.
Expect this trial to be shut down quickly otherwise the AfD will have a field day with the Mekon (Merz).
