This is all in support of a new wheeze dreamt up by the lawfare lobby in the White House, a counter-terrorism strategy aimed at the 'red-green alliance' (no, not the 'rainbow alliance') and designed to counter the 'resurgence of transnational far-left terrorism’ by which they really mean resistance to Israel's goals.
This transnational far-left framing, with its echoes of the global threat from communism and McCarthyism, counterbalances the usual 'far-right' threat that is the main concern in Europe - except if that threat is in Ukraine where it is encouraged by everyone in the EU/UK, bar Poland who have a historical perspective on what far-right nationalism in Ukraine really means in practice.
Now that the term 'anti-semitism' has lost its meaning due to the efforts of the pro-Israel lobby who see it in everything that suits their agenda, the term 'terrorism' is also losing its meaning for the same reason.
Apparently we are all terrorists now: on the left, on the right, grandmas in the centre supporting Palestine, whatever.
Now there's no need to wear a suicide vest or behead someone to be called a terrorist - you just have to be a journalist trying to establish the truth by actually visiting places and meeting people to gain perspective or someone who does not support the MSM narratives and peacefully protests them.
The authorities are lowering the bar for terrorism so that practically anyone can be a terrorist.
Now that's what you call diversity and inclusion.
