Machine-Gun Them

Well that's one way of doing it

The Daily Mail reports:

Furore as Marine commander who liberated the Falklands says: Machine-gun the migrants' boats

The commander who led the land operation to liberate the Falklands has triggered a furore by saying that boats carrying migrants across the Channel should be machine-gunned.

'I would shoot them,' Major-General Julian Thompson told a documentary about mass immigration to Britain.

A 'hero' of the Falklands has broken ranks and said what some might agree with.

Maj Gen Thompson, 92, who headed 3 Commando Brigade during the conflict, said of the thousands of migrants who land on UK shores each month: 'We could stop them tomorrow if we really had the guts. I'd shoot them, sorry, but I would.'

But the UK's 'wet' leaders do not have the guts and instead the illegal people-trafficking boats that make money for criminals are escorted to the UK by Border Force/Coastguard boats or the RNLI charity who are essentially aiding and abetting a criminal enterprise.

A subtext of the General's comment is that Margaret Thatcher - who sent the Task Force to the Falklands - would never have allowed this to happen and she wouldn't.

The only thing you can say for sure about the failure to stop mass illegal immigration is that someone, somewhere wants the UK to become what the General called a 'conglomerate'.

But FNN has a solution to the small boats crisis that does not involve machine guns.

Create the Illegal Immigrant Visa (IIV)!

The IIV looks like a normal visa - it's just that the issuing authority knows by the number that this is an IIV.

IIV holders must apply for the (free) visa in their own country and buy a return air ticket to the UK (maybe even discounted or free) - but even if paid for, it would be much cheaper and far less stressful than transiting the whole of the EU and paying a people trafficker for their crossing over the English channel.

IIVs are processed through their own dedicated customs lane at Heathrow (LHR) airport (much like the Ukrainian visa lane).

Those who pass the initial triage checks at LHR are moved to a secure holding center near LHR for further processing, those who don't are put in a secure 'holding hotel' to be deported on the next plane back using their return ticket.

Get a combination of Amazon and Travelodge to build and manage the processing center and pay them per person processed.

Simples!

And not a machine gun in sight.
