Unstatues

A Mad Hatter suggestion

Sky News reports:

Man who vandalised Churchill statue in Parliament Square found not guilty of criminal damage

Caspar San Giorgi was cleared after arguing his act wasn't criminal and the washable paint hadn't damaged the statue.

The Churchill statue was also defaced by Black Lives Matter protestors.

So FNN has a suggestion: unstatues.

A new range of unstatues to be erected around the UK to public figures that were once revered and now not so much.

The purpose of an unstatue is to allow anyone who wishes to deface it to do so however they want, short of chucking it into a nearby river/lake/harbour.

Statues will be cleaned weekly ensuring the perps of the defacement at least one week of public display of their message.

Unstatues: pretty cool huh?
