President Trump has begun lobbying for the next head of the UN.
His favoured candidate is Alfred E Neuman.
Neuman is the figurehead of MAD (Mutually Assured Destruction) magazine and Trump thinks he has exactly the right qualifications for the job of international peace maker.
Trump believes that Neuman's gap-toothed youthfulness could prove a breath of fresh air at the UN when the current General Secretary is replaced in 2027.
What's more, Neuman's name sounds vaguely Jewish so that should please Trump's election backers and piss-off the current Mayor of New York where the UN's HQ is based.
Neuman could not be reached for comment.
