Sky News reports:

UK takes on world-first mission to clear up space rubbish In a first-of-its-kind mission, the UK is to clear up rubbish in space that could threaten GPS and weather forecasting services.

The Sky report shows a UK waste grabber capturing what is probably meant to be a Russian satellite in order to put it into a cosmic recycling bin, most likely a mini black-hole.

Meanwhile fly-tipped rubbish piles up around the UK:

And the BBC reports:

It's good to know that the UK is clearing up waste in space for the world but could it also clear up some more in the UK?
