We'll Fight Them on the Beaches

Well, not anymore

There has been plenty of faux outrage over Pete Hegseth's latest comments at the D-Day celebrations as Sky News reports:

Pete Hegseth has warned Europe is facing "an invasion of dangerous ideologies" arriving by sea, as he linked immigration to the legacy of the D-Day landings in Normandy.

The US defence secretary was speaking at the Normandy American Cemetery in northwestern France during commemorations for the 82nd anniversary of the 6 June 1944 landings, when US and Allied forces crossed the English Channel to launch the liberation of western Europe from Nazi occupation.

"Sadly, today, different European beaches are stormed by different, dangerous ideologies. Beaches in Spain, Italy, Greece and Bulgaria, boats and men arrive," Mr Hegseth said.

Anything critical to do with D-Day is in effect like treading on a national treasure.

Today, acknowledgement of the threat of immigration has been deflected by the MSM to be far behind the 'threat' of Russia to the way of life in the UK.

And you have to admit this fake narrative has been expertly managed.

It's ironic that this Russian 'threat' today ignores the fact that D-Day could only have happened as a result of the Soviet Union breaking the back of the Wehrmacht in the East and suffering tens of millions of dead in the process.

One wonders what Churchill would have thought of the storming of UK beaches by what he might have called 'fuzzy-wuzzies' - like those he faced as a lancer at the Battle of Omdurman in 1898.

Or would he just have rolled-over and given in like the appeasement governments of today?

Interesting?
