The Dissident reports on more sanctioning of individuals who don't comply with the mainstream Ukraine narrative:
The Scam Of Ukrainian ‘Democracy’.
The Western Backed Ukrainian Regime Continues to Wage War On It’s Domestic Critics.
This time it's Iuliia Mendel, Zelenskyy’s former former press secretary, who's being sanctioned for being critical of the Zelensky regime.
She joins a list of individuals sanctioned by either the EU or Ukraine (see the Dissident article) for undermining the mainstream narrative woven around Ukrainian 'democracy'.
The strange thing about these sanctions is that people like Ivan Katchanovski (Canadian/Ukrainian academic) and Benoît Paré (former OSCE observer in Ukraine) have also not been sanctioned in some way for their non-conforming views.
Katchanovski for essentially proving that the Maidan 'massacre' involved ultra-nationalists shooting some of the 'heavenly hundred' and Paré for writing a couple of books and many articles/posts that paint a different picture of Ukrainian democracy in action in eastern Ukraine.
How come they haven't been sanctioned by either Canada or France?
Sanctioning is a very serious matter at an individual level so the fact that individuals are being sanctioned at all, just for their views on the conflict, proves how desperate things are becoming in the effort to shore-up the official narrative of 'democratic' Ukraine fighting off 'authoritarian' Russia.
